The 11th !!! Edition of "la Virée des Cols Vosgiens" was hold:
on Friday the 28th, Saturday the 29th and Sunday (morning) the 30th of may 2010.
Shortly:
• In 2010, as since 2007, three categories: «Tourism», «GT» and «Expert».
• Trip "type 10th issue" (two full days) in a part of the Plaine d'Alsace and the Vosges - 388,95 miles in two complete days, award ceremony on the morning from Sunday - 90 crews to start: 16 in the category «Tourism», 38 in the category «GT», 36 in the category «Expert» - Again many magnificent cars to participate - Weather conditions during the rally: in general acceptable, even if we had some rain on the Thursday evening. Acceptable weather to drive roadsters (even for not English drivers) !!! |

Some information regarding the « Trophée Historique des Régions de France »
 |
As the «IXème Ronde Vignes Houblon» was finally the least one, the «TGE» could not be continued in 2010!
The Virée des Cols Vosgiens and the Routes du Jura dare a new challenge and have joint the «Trophée Historique de Régions de France». This Trophy which than originally comprised The BRITTANY TROPHY, The VIREE DES COLS VOSGIENS, La RONDE des ALPES, Les ROUTES du JURA, The BOUCLES de la LOIRE et The RALLYE JEANNE D'ARC, covered the whole French territory.
FinallyThe RONDE des CIMES joint also The Trophée Historique des Régions de France, so it is a real championship which has been set up by this way !
The VIREE DES COLS VOSGIENS 2010 had already reached the maximum of participants (including a waiting list) beginning of November 2009, this has been reached before the publication of the registration documents.
At that moment the participation of the Virée to the THRF was not officially finalized.
Therefore, due to these circumstances, The Virée des Cols Vosgiens will not be considered for the result of The Trophée Historique des Régions de France 2010. |
