| What a long way since 2000, September 10 nth, when 16 teams of the TRIUMPH-CLUB of ALSACE rushed towards the North Vosges mountains by trying to decode a road book which was organized urgently to fill a gap in the drives program of our club. Some « Passing-Controls » were placed hastily on the roadside to check if the participants in this first « T.C.A. Rally » had respected the right itinerary. Neither Time-Control nor Rally Marshals, all the organization and the controls were done by your servant and Jean-Paul Massé, who rounded the 16 cars like real sheepdogs! |

| 2001, may the 13 nth, was taking place the first real « Navigation Rally of the T.C.A.». Called « La Virée des Cols Vosgiens » (The Outing of the Vosges Mountains Passes), this event, with a run of 145 miles in three stages, registered the participation of 40 regional teams, delighted to discover or discover again our beautiful province by a wonderful spring day. |

In 2002, other screenplay! For the first time, « La Virée des Cols Vosgiens » took place on two days during the first week-end of May. With a run of 270 miles in three stages, our event met his real cruising speed and so entered, in the opinion of all the participants, the circle of the great regularity rallies ! |

| In 2002 we coupled also our rally with « Les Routes des Vosges », famous international rally organised by Michel Thomas. Together, we created the « Trophée des Vosges », which rewards each year the best teams in both categories. |

| Since this third edition, and thanks to the laudatory reports published in the regional, general and national, specific press, the reputation of our young event already has widely exceeded the limit of our frontiers. So, year after year, many foreign teams came regularly to participate at our rally. |
And in order to preserve this conviviality which made our fame, we have deliberately limited the number of participants to 75 registered teams. We just expect mild meteorological conditions and sunny weather for our further rallies! |

After 4 years where our rally was coupled with «Les Routes des Vosges», Daniel Melle, Olivier Sussot, Robert
Schneck and Michel Thomas have created 2006 the «Trophée du Grand Est». This trophy associates 4 fabelous rallies:
«La Virée des Cols Vosgiens», «Les Routes du Jura», «La Ronde Vignes-Houblon» und die «Routes des Vosges». |
